Ludovic GLOANEC:
I was born in 1973 in Toulouse, and decided to move to the Alps in 1998. There, I have met a musher, it was a beautiful encounter, on a human and dog level. I have been passionated by dog pulling sports since I am 20 and hold two licenses for "brevet fédéral premier degrés des sports de traîneau et discipline associé" (national certificate for sledge sport) and "DEJEPS d’attelage canin" (dog sledding state diploma). The dogs:
Cusco, Merlin, Ubac, Shapka, Sérac, Futé, Looping and Baracuda... They all have their own personnalities and a different hierarchical position in the pack. You will discrover their way of living and their job in the team.

WINTER ACTIVITY:
Introduction to driving a dog sled: come learn how to drive a dog sled, discrover the amazing sensation of slidding and the bond with the dogs. Be a true musher for half a day or a full day... You will learn the basics from preparing the sled, to driving techniques adapted to mountain area, sourrounded by wild nature near the Giffre valley ski area.

Discover our 2 days dog sledding:
2 days of total immersion of dog sledding with our Siberian huskies surrounded by mountains ! Sharing a friendly moment with the dogs, enjoying beautiful landscapes, spending the night in an igloo or a tent: this is our recipee to give you an overview on how to become a happy musher. All participants are involved in this adventure, with the dogs but also to set up the bivouac.

SUMMER ACTIVITY:
Doggy-Kart: discover the doggy-kart (or husky buggy) ! After being introduced to the Siberian huskies, your Musher will let you in the go-kart, pulled by the sled dogs. You will enjoy seeing our dogs in action, the beautiful landscapes and the Haute-Savoie department mountain flora.

Dog hiking:
Half a day (including a visit of the dogs' environnment), meaning 2:30 of activity. This hike will lead you to the Giffre river banksbetween Morillon and Mieussy. After a short educational briefing about the progress of the activity, you will learn how to put the harness on your sled dog in order to be connected with it, thanks to a tether and a harness adapted to the activiy
