Guidebook with maps/step-by-step : From the Col de la Ramaz, follow a wide stony path slightly uphill towards the Lac de Roy. In the summer season, there are herds up on Véran pastures so remember to close gates. It’s possible to just walk around the lake, or you can go on a longer walk up to the ridge, for a superb view down across Giffre Valley, the Môle and Aravis Mountains (360-degree panoramic view from the Pointe du Haut Fleury).
