Ludovic GLOANEC :
Born in Toulouse in 1973, I decided to settle in the Alps in 1998, where I experienced a real human and canine encounter with a musher. Passionate about dog sledding for 20 years, and holder of the brevet fédéral premier degré des sports de traîneau et discipline associé and the DEJEPS d'attelage canin, Les Traîneaux de l'Ubac began its adventure in MORILLON, Haute Savoie, at the Centre Nordique d'AGY.

The dogs :
Cusco, Merlin, Ubac, Shapka, Sérac, Futé, Looping and Baracuda..., all have a different character and a hierarchical place within the pack. Learn about their way of life and their function on a carriage.

Introduction to carriage driving:
Come and learn how to drive a dog sled, and discover the amazing sensation of gliding, and the complicity with the animal. Step into the shoes of a real musher, for a half-day or a full day... You'll learn the basics of harnessing dogs, and how to steer a sled adapted to the alpine terrain, in a wild and natural setting around your ski area in the Giffre Valley.

Discover our 2-day raid :
The dog sledding raid is 2 days of total immersion with our Siberian huskies in a mountain setting!
Sharing and bonding with your own team, magnificent landscapes, overnight stays in igloos or tents... that's our recipe for helping you discover how to become a happy musher.
All participants are involved in this adventure, both with the sled dogs and in preparing the bivouac!
