About

The Chartreuse of Mélan is one of the major monuments of the Giffre valley : an old building and rich of 650 years of history.

It was built in the XIII° century by Béatrix de Faucigny. Mélan welcomed moniales, then a middle school and an orphanage.

Today, visitors can discover the church, the convent and enjoy the magic of this place of serenity and plenitude.
