There are events around the bread oven in the summer
The Guides to the Heritage of Savoy have brought together an impressive collection of period utensils to illustrate everyday life on the slopes around Samoens. Having established the idea of reviving this traditional farm as it was in 1815, the Clos Parchet Farm Folk Museum opened to the public in 1994. Take a step back in time by visiting this traditional farm which has been restored to its original 19th century condition. See how the living room and kitchen would have looked at this time. Imagine the living conditions of a farming family of that period. Farm work in the surrounding fields and the trades of the period are also illustrated by a large collection of objects, displayed in the barn. The visit ends with a free tasting session.
Summer courses: traditional Savoy songs, wood carving, water colour memories of holidays, traditional woodworking
